Timber framed new build school constructed under the 21st Century School Programme to replace four other schools. Providing modern educational facilities for 180 pupils, as well as providing 25 nursery places.

The MEP design was completed to BRE BIM level 2 principals utilising the latest Revit software, with the Mechanical and Electrical services being fully modelled in 3D prior to installation.

With no mains gas being available in the local area, a series of air source heat pumps were installed on this project to meet the full demand of both the heating and domestic water services. With other green technologies such as smart daylight dimming lighting, photovoltaic arrays, natural ventilation systems and water saving technologies all adding up to provide a very sustainable designed building, which achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.
