AJ Field were appointed to undertake the MEP installation on the new replacement school to serve 230 pupils of the Maesgeirchen community. The school was constructed under the 21st Century School Programme to replace the existing school, providing modern education facilities, as well as outside sports facilities for the wider community.

The MEP design was completed to BRE BIM level 2 principals utilising Revit software, with the Mechanical and Electrical services being fully modelled in 3D prior to installation. AJ Field issued this model to our installation team, allowing them to view the model on site and review against the actual install, streamlining the installation process.

With its photovoltaic array and water saving technology the building achieved a BREEAM Excellent standard.
